The Operations Executive will be responsible for taking ownership of the administrative process within the Premier Foods account. Premier Foods is one of Britain’s biggest listed food companies with a portfolio of brands that can be found in 96% of British Households. They operate primarily in the ambient food sector which continues to be the largest sector within the total UK grocery market and have a portfolio of brands which include Bisto, Paxo, Batchelors, Mr Kipling, Homepride and many more.

Role Details:

Salary: £24,000

Bonus: Perfomance Related Bonus

Equipment Provided: Mobile Phone, Laptop

What does the role involve?

• To play an active part in the strategic direction of the Premier Foods account and business
• To continuously review and propose new ways of working for current processes and procedures
• To actively support with new business projects
• To ensure account activity briefs are produced, formatted and sent to the field
• To compile visual aids and ensure they are accessible for the field team, and set up relevant information on Global Connect/ShopLINK
• Responsibility for maintaining and updating the asset information for the account, liaising with the field team and IT
• Responsibility for ordering and collecting assets
• Acting as the main point of contact for all fleet related queries and maintaining records of drivers, vehicles, accidents, hire cars etc.
• Data recording and reporting, including daily and weekly reporting to support with KPI management
• Financials, including credit card reconciliations
• General administration

Who are we looking for?

• Previous experience in a similar operations role – ideally from an FMCG or retail operations background, although we will also consider applications from ambitious and motivated individuals with experience from other sectors.
• You will be excited about representing a great brand, show resilience, drive and tenacity to succeed.
• IT literate, proficient in the use of PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
• Good commercial awareness, attention to detail and problem solving skills
• Able to balance the needs of multiple stakeholders
• You will be passionate about the amazing brands we market and have the drive and tenacity to succeed.
